I would not recommend Park's Toyota Carlisle because I wasn’t happy with the service from the salesperson, he didn’t fill me with confidence. I had a private plate on my old car that I wanted to retain, I also paid £250 pounds deposit that I was told I would have returned to me when I collected the car.
I was unsure what to do about the private plate, I called prior to collecting the car, to ask what was the best thing to do about retention, I was told that they would sort it when I collected the car, 5 days later I was having trouble connecting the android auto so I called to speak to someone about it and to ask what was happening about my private plate as I had not received my retention certificate, I was told that the salesperson I dealt with would call me back, no one called me back.
7 Days after picking up the car I was in the area so I went in to see what was going on, I spoke to the salesperson, who had no idea on how to solve my connection problem, he then told me that I needed to pay £80 to have my private plate retention processed (when I collected the car he told me that Parks paid for the retention) that was 1week lost, I asked about the return of my deposit, he then said he needed me to supply my bank details so they could return the money (it was the same card I paid it on). I was going away for few days and had booked my car in on my private plate, I had to change all of that.
While I was away, nearly two weeks after collecting the car, I received an email from the salesman asking me to send the prove of outstanding finance on my old car so they could sort out the finance, turned out he already had it, I called him to ask what was going on, I told him I wasn’t happy with what was happing and wanted to now how long it was going to take to get my deposit back, later that day I got another email asking me to supply my bank details again for the return of my deposit, this was the third time I supplied this information, I am concerned about what is happening to my private information, as he keeps losing it.
I have now received my deposit back into my account although it has to clear, as it is just pending, and I have sorted my private plate out, and it is on the car now, but all of this has taken two weeks, and all of it should have been sorted on the day of collection, the salesperson should have asked me to provide all this information prior to collection.
This hopefully is an isolated incident and I can’t comment on the other salesperson’s, but I personally don’t think I would get another car from there.

I'd definitely recommend Park's Toyota Carlisle because Gordon who I deal with every time goes above and beyond any expectations, and always finds the right sort of of car to suit me and my family, Gordon rings me regularly to see if everything is going okay, I definitely will stick to Park’s Toyota at Carlisle because I’m never disappointed and definitely highly recommended
